The Storyteller:

I have been telling stories since I was six years old. I grew-up in Washington, D.C. where children's vivid imaginations were inspired by stories and nursery rhymes. These magical tales were a part of me, etched in my memories, I knew them as well as I knew my own name. Stores like Samson and Delilah,The Story of Jonah, Daniel in the Lion's Den, The Parables of Jesus, The Christmas Story, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Three Little Pigs, Hansel and Gretel, Little Red Riding Hood helped shaped my personality and develop my character. I was also forever enchanted by timeless nursery rhymes, namely Hay Diddle Diddle, Humpty Dumpty, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, Jack Sprat, I'm a Little Teapot and the list goes on.

There was always someone eager to hear what new story I had learned, especially my grandmother whom I called Gran; and, of course, my sister, Roberta. My sister and I would take turns telling each other stories. We would get lost in the fantastic worlds we explored in our stories. This was our favorite pass time for years.
